New Color Indicator for TM Matches

What it does

Visualizing data more effectively is a proven method for expediting work processes. And while quality is the priority we also need to crunch those time punches ya know? So this feature update introduces a visual way to sort your Translation Memory (TM) matches. Letting you hone in on the data in one quick glance.

Why this is helpful

Our brains fire at remarkable speed (Especially as translation pros) but we can be even faster if the data we need to consume and sort is already sorted visually. This feature update will empower your brain to zero down on the information you’re looking for and categorically line up any alternative translation memory options available to you.

Allow Import of Multilingual Excel Files

What it does

Spreadsheets seem to find their way to the center of any major project. We depend on them alot too, believe it or not. So with this in mind we thought it was time to up our spreadsheet game a little.

This feature update will give you the ability to upload a multilingual spreadsheet without the need to edit the sheet so BWX can understand it. Now your language headers can be interpreted by the software and each column or row will be extracted as its own work unit.

Why this is helpful

Because multilingual XLSX files are such a powerful tool for those of us who translate or localize content; it’s important that BWX can interpret your data in its rawest form. Otherwise, who are we helping? This feature update should help make your projects more efficient, cost-effective, with higher quality and better flexibility.

Currency Conversion - API Integration

What it does

Now, we’ve added 5 new currency conversion inputs. We’re constantly growing and as we do we’re opening new doors to accommodate our global community. So don't be surprised when you see any of the following newly added currencies in the conversion drop-down!

Romanian Leu (RON)

Czech Koruna (CZK)

West African CFA franc (XOF)

Guinean Franc (GNF)

Argentine Pesos (ARS)

Why this is helpful

The addition of these 5 new options for currency conversion in BWX expand our global community to reach even more corners of the world. As we onboard new clients or garner more translator talent in these regions, we also empower them with seamless billing functionalities.

Quality Review - Group by Project

What it does

We are always raving about quality. In our industry quality is the benchmark by which all comparisons are made. And so we decided that perhaps it's time to compare apples to apples by grouping quality reviews by project. And that's not all, we took it a step further and within the project grouping, we’ve highlighted relevant information on the average performance for each task completed.

Why this is helpful

We know quality data is powerful. And the way data is organized and presented can have an impactful affect on personal growth and productivity. So this feature update will leverage the existing data in a way that allows you to easily draw inferences that you didn't have access to before.

UI Refactor

What it does

New "Notifications" Tab in "Org.Unit":

We have introduced a new tab called "Notifications" within the "Org.Unit" section. This tab serves as a centralized location for all notification options that were previously scattered across different tabs. Now, you can conveniently access and manage notification settings in one dedicated location.

New Tabs for "Custom Cancelation Options" and "Custom Review Category" in Business Page:

To streamline and organize information, we have added dedicated tabs for "Custom Cancelation Options" and "Custom Review Category" on the Business page. This ensures that these specific settings are easily accessible and can be configured efficiently.

Relocation of "Net Rate Settings" to "Translation Settings":

The "Net Rate Settings" have been relocated and are now housed within the "Translation Settings" section. This adjustment aims to enhance the logical organization of settings related to translation, providing a more intuitive user experience.

Why this is helpful

Our goal with these UI enhancements is to improve overall navigation with the same intuitive flows you are used to in other interfaces. We feel these subtle changes will improve overall usability. Need more assistance? Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
