BWX Improvements - October 2022

New Spellcheck

Let's face it, even if you're a good speller, sometimes fingers are faster than brains. Happens to me all the time. And while we already had a spell checker built in, we wanted to make it more robust and intuitive. So we did!‍

Why this is helpful

‍This new updated feature brings a little more speed and performance so that these real-time corrections can be addressed in.... well real-time.

Project cancellation - Choose option

This one is for us, but let me tell you about it anyways. Sometimes people cancel projects. It's cool, no worries - we get it. But because we're so focused on growth and getting better, we decided it's helpful to know why projects are getting canceled. This way, maybe we can see an opportunity to do better in the future.

‍Improvement is ongoing and we can't do it without you! The better we get, the easier your job becomes. easy peasy!

Glossary - Forbidden terms

Not all words are culturally appropriate - trust me, I learned that the hard way! But now the forbidden terms function will allow you to highlight certain words that you never want to say in your translation - even if the originating document uses that word. I wish some people had this feature too.

‍Using these types of terms directly in the editor allows for greater clarity and better organization.

Translation Memory - Edit function

Is there something you want to add or remove from your translation memory database? Well, now you can .... edit function is live!

‍Why this is helpful
